Elvis Medrano is a Master Barber born and raised in the city of champions. Cutting hair for more than 15 years, his skills have attracted legendary clientele such as Pedro Martinez, David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, Paul Pierce, and Junior Seau to his chair. Not only that, he has cut the hair of numerous members of the Red Sox inside the clubhouse as the team barber - even earning himself a spot on a duck boat with the team during the victory parade of 2007. He learned the craft in his parents South End barbershop as a teenager, eventually gaining a reputation as one of the best young barbers in the city. As his list of clients grew - from peers, to teachers at his school, to celebrities - so did his vision. He knew he wanted to open up a shop of his own. After further studying the craft of cutting hair in the Dominican Republic, he returned to Boston to work in some of the city's premiere barbershops while earning his certification as Master Barber. In January of 2013 his dream came true: He opened up Euphoria Barbershop at 766b Cambridge St. in Cambridge MA. Euphoria means 'Happiness', and that is exactly what you'll find in the shop. Elvis cuts hair 6 days out of the week, and you can find him cutting to the rhythms of his favorite Tipico, Bachata, and Merengue songs while delivering the freshest cuts in town.
